Snowed In!

It seems that we're a bit snowed in here at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's been snowing HARD since about 3:30 yesterday and the forecast calls for continued heavy snow throughout today.
Snow at 7:00

Snowbound! Yippee! Since I can't finish Christmas shopping and our party for this evening had to canceled, I think I'll turn my attention to other finishing and preparatory details.
Crazy sheep
First, we'll finish de-cluttering the dining room and kitchen. Then I'll put on a big pot of beef stew to simmer all day. After that I'm planning to indulge in fiber related activities like winding these for the 10 Shawls in 2010 and The Enchanted Woods KAL.
KAL & 10 in 2010 choices

Maybe I'll finish this today - fingers crossed - so I can get back to my Bobbie gloves and Circular Vest.
Victorine almost done!
I'm not going to panic about not having our Christmas shopping complete. It will take care of itself once we can get out again and into town. I hope you will enjoy a safe, warm, and wonderfully fibery day - even if you're not snowed in!

Judy - Janice made the ornament! Isn't it cute? I love the brushed roving as its hair!

Snow!!! We had snow like that last year about 2 weeks before Christmas. It was fairly bad for us, no one out here on the west coast is prepared to drive in it, or get the roads cleared. We actually didn't have more than probably 8 inches, but........ :)

And what is it about cluttered kitchens and dining rooms. Ours is awful!

Snowbound can be sort of exciting and cozy at the same time (at least if there's noplace else that you absolutely have to be).

Love the little sheep in a sweater ornament.

Just found your blog, lovely ornaments. Happy Holidays. I would love some snow I live in Florida and it doesn't seem like Christmas at all. Enjoy!
